MESCO (Modern Educational Social and Cultural Organisation) values every contribution made towards its charitable initiatives. This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how requests are handled for donations, registrations, and related payments made through the website.
MESCO is a secular trust registered in 1968 with the Charity Commissioner of Mumbai, working in areas including educational support, medical aid, and relief of poverty.
1. General Policy
- All donations made to MESCO are voluntary and are used for charitable and social welfare activities.
- Donors are requested to carefully verify details (amount, purpose, contact information) before completing payment.
- Once funds are allocated or disbursed for charitable activities, refund requests may not be possible except in exceptional and verifiable cases.
2. Donations - Refund Eligibility
A refund may be considered in the following situations, subject to review:
- multiple deductions caused by a technical/payment gateway error for the same transaction;
- incorrect amount charged due to a system issue;
- unauthorized transaction reported by the account holder, with supporting proof.
Approved refunds, if any, are processed back to the original payment source. Processing time may vary depending on payment partner/bank timelines.
3. Donations - Non-Refundable Cases
- change of mind after a successful and valid donation;
- requests received after a substantial delay from transaction date;
- donations already utilized/committed for programme activities;
- payment gateway charges or bank charges, where applicable.
4. Cancellation Requests
- For one-time donations, cancellation is generally not possible once the transaction is completed.
- If any recurring contribution facility is offered in future, cancellation can be requested prior to the next debit cycle through official support channels.
- For event/programme registrations (if applicable), cancellation terms may depend on the specific programme notice and timeline.
5. How to Request a Refund or Raise a Payment Concern

6. Review and Decision Timeline
